~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COURSE DESCRIPTIONFoundational Neuroenergetic Release® Seminar Modules NER I & NER II *Money Back Guarantee!Presented by Donald W. Kipp, NCTMB NER I and NER II modules must be taken consecutively and are a paired series necessary for a working knowledge of this system. This seminar presents: · How to enhance palpatory skills both for assessment and treatment objectives. · How to determine core distortion patterns. Learn postural/structural analysis to determine peoples basic patterns of postural/structural asymmetries and dysfunction. · The basic theory, philosophy and principles of the deep tissue techniques presented. · Three non-force facilitated neuro-somatic release techniques and how to apply them to specific structure. · How to non-invasively access and treat the superficial and deep tissues of the body. · Four models for locating NER points. · How dysfunction in seemingly unrelated parts of the body is related. · Protocol for Core Distortion Pattern and symptom release. · Progress and post treatment assessment methods. · Anatomy review; a study list is sent out on registration.
Prerequisites: NCTMB, CMT, P.T., O.T., D.C. (*other health professional with advanced base in musculoskeletal anatomy) * instructor approval required.
Target Audience and Intent: This Seminar is for the massage therapist/bodyworker and other health professional who wish to work in a very results oriented manner. It is designed to teach new paradigms in massage and manual therapy as well as new and unique protocol and technique. Emphasis will be placed on learning to analyze any case that presents itself and devising a plan of care as well as specific protocol. Participants will learn a large number of new anatomically specific protocol. Information is presented personally by lecture and reviewing written manuals. Additional material is also presented to enhance what is in the manual, so participants are encouraged to take notes. Questions and evaluation situations are presented for participants to analyze. The material is presented in small chunks related by subject matter to make it easier to assimilate. Visual devices and anatomical models are used to aid learning. Participants do supervised trades in both evaluation and treatment technique to kinesthetically reinforce learning and to enhance palpatory skills. Because of the large volume of material covered class size is limited to insure a quality, personal learning experience. There will be discussion on how to incorporate this new knowledge into your practice. The greater the participants knowledge of anatomy the greater their learning experience will be. A study list will be sent out on registration. Learning Goals 1. Become familiar with basic theory, philosophy, and principals of Neuroenergetic Release. 2. To have increased palpatory skills and anatomical knowledge. 3. Be able to perform NER Postural/Structural analysis 4. Be able to structurally assess distortions, compensations, asymmetries, develop an understanding of how they are inter-related and form core distortion patterns 5. Be able to use the non-force neuro-somatic release (NER) techniques and apply them to specific structure. 6. Be able to apply a minimum treatment plan for a new case Contact hours: 32 NER I and NER II modules must be taken consecutively and are a paired series necessary for a working knowledge of this system. NER I and NER II together make up the Foundational NER Seminar. Each module consists of 16 hrs. instruction. A certificate for 32 contact hrs. will be issued on completion of NER II. Full attendance of is required to receive a certificate of completion for all contact hrs. NCBTMB require 50 minutes of class participation for each contact hr awarded. *Class size limited to ensure quality personalized instruction. Prerequisites: NCTMB, M.D., CMT, P.T., O.T., D.C.
